Marlow’s Quiet Night in

Saturday 27th March 8pm-10pm

Listen on Marlow FM (97.5fm), or you can watch online live on MarlowTV.co.uk

Join Tom Kerridge, Chris Evans, Russell Brand and some bigger stars for an evening of over ambitious and amateurish nonsense celebrating Meals from Marlow.

What's Next for Meals from Marlow?

Meals from Marlow was created at the start of Lockdown to provide support for Key workers and those in need both in Marlow and surrounding towns during the pandemic.

The scheme has so far provided over 100,000 meals, by working with the NHS and many community organisations both within Marlow, High Wycombe, Slough, Maidenhead and other local areas.

The project is now being formalised as a permanent charity to provide support for those in need in the region. We plan to continue to work closely with local organisations and charities to ensure that the meals produced find their way to those most in need, relying on our partners' experience and expertise to support our neighbours each and every week.

But to do this we need your support. To continue delivering 750 meals per week, we plan to raise a minimum of £75,000 and expand the project further if possible.

The fundraising starts this Saturday with Marlow’s Quiet Night In.

HOW IT WORKS

The Meals from Marlow initiative is to be operated entirely by volunteers and is not for profit.

Tom has kindly donated his production kitchen and will be supervising food production and hygiene.

Professional Chefs will band together, donating their time and effort to help Tom and the team.

Admin staff and management is being provided by Pub In The Park and Andy Agar, free of charge.

FOUNDING PARTNERS

The response so far from local businesses has been outstanding. Both Pub In the Park and Origin Doors & Windows in High Wycombe have made very generous donations to fund our first 5,000 meals. The Shanly Foundation have also provided an incredibly generous donation of £25,000. We have also received great support from Platts of Marlow and The Link Foundation in our efforts to provide meals for those in need. And finally, the team at Marlow Town Council are also working with us to ensure our efforts meet the needs of local community and to ensure that every penny given goes towards making a difference.
