Chef/Patron of The Beehive in White Waltham, Dominic Chapman has had an incredible culinary career. From working as head chef at Heston Blumenthal’s The Hind’s Head to earning a Michelin star and three AA rosettes at Michael Parkinson’s Pub, The Royal Oak.

We caught up with him to chat all things Christmas!

What are you most looking forward to about Christmas?

Christmas is a brilliant time to catch up with friends and family. Eat lots of delicious food, watch a film or two and basically have a small break from the restaurant.

If you could only eat 3 Christmas foods for the rest of your life, what would you pick?

Turkey soup, sprouts & bacon, and mince pies.

What’s your favourite Christmas memory?

Christmas Eve dinner: champagne and carols at the Castle in Taunton. Christmas has then begun.

What’s your best tip for Christmas leftovers?

Every year on Boxing Day I make turkey soup. Delicious… a curry is always good as well.

What song is the soundtrack to your Christmas and why?

The Snowman. Such a good film and soundtrack. It is Christmas in every way.
