Trevor Blake, Senior Chef

Trevor was born to be a chef - he was always just good at cooking. Winning a placement whilst studying at Birmingham College of Food, he went from making sarnies to à la carte cooking in no time. Spreading his wings, he moved to the Cumberland Hotel in London's Marble Arch and Mash & Air in Manchester before settling at Hotel du Vin in Birmingham. Trevor's been a star in our own kitchens since he first stepped foot into The Swan's at Salford in the autumn of 2004. In those days he was sous chef helping to put this village gem on the culinary map and after well and truly doing that he became head chef of The Black Horse in Woburn.  The horse galloped away and before long he earned his stripes taking on a bird's eye view in the kitchen helping all our pubs make their food the best it can be. Now he's often to be found training, trying out new dishes and finding the next big thing for our menus.  Trevor suddenly found himself dining at the top table in 2015 when he became Peach partner, and his dream came true.
