Pub in the Park is proud to continue it’s tradition of supporting  the local community. Ticket revenue and other activities on the evening will all be part of a campaign to raise £40,000 for Meals for Marlow, the local charity started in Covid to feed local people in need.

£10 from each ticket purchased will be donated to the charity and a limited number of Super Donor tickets will guarantee 100 meals for the charity and buy a VIP ticket to the all-star party at the front of the stage.

Announcing the line-up, Tom Kerridge said “Meals from Marlow has seen the whole town work together for four years to ensure that we feed people in need.   The opening night of Pub in The Park is the perfect opportunity for us all to come together and can be our biggest and best fundraiser yet.”

Rev’d Dave Bull of All Saints Church, which organises Meals from Marlow commented “Pub in The Park has supported Meals From Marlow since the day it started in 2020. Without their generous support, we would not exist today.  As the town gathers to enjoy this year’s festival, it’s wonderful to know that we are supporting those who are struggling at the moment and pursuing our vision that there should be no hungry people in Marlow.”

Tickets for the gala evening go on sale on Friday 9th Feb (pre-sale on 8th) and cost £45, £10 of which will go to the charity. Super Donor tickets of £300 each will donate 100 meals for the year and will gain access to the VIP celeb reception, the tasting menu and stage side VIP access.

Meals from Marlow was founded in April 2020 by Tom Kerridge, Andy Agar and Chris Hughes from Pub In the Park in response to Covid and initially served food to health and other key workers.  It has since expanded its work to serve elderly, and other needy groups in and around Marlow.  It has been funded by the generosity of local community groups and individuals for 4 years and is operated by an amazing team of up to 100 completely unpaid volunteers.

To date the project has raised over £400k and funded over 200,000 meals”.

This year these will include recipients and volunteers from meals from Marlow, guest and hosts from the Marlow Ukraine Collective, Teachers, health workers emergency workers and other community groups
