Big Nath’s BBQ started as one man, one smoker, and a lockdown dream. Fast forward a few years, and we’ve turned that dream into one of the UK’s most exciting live-fire BBQ brands. Based in the heart of Bristol, we serve proper barbecue at markets, festivals, private events, and at our very own BBQ Skool in Backwell — where we turn everyday cooks into bona fide fire-wranglers.
Nathan Ritchie (aka Big Nath) spent 15 years running construction sites before deciding that wood smoke, slow cooking, and a lot of trial-and-error tasted better than spreadsheets. During lockdown he perfected our signature BBQ sauce — now a nationally-awarded, Bristol-born legend in a bottle. Alongside him is Kinsey Pelletier, co-founder, organiser-in-chief, and all-round powerhouse. Her mental health nursing and event management background means she keeps this chaotic BBQ circus running… mostly smoothly. Together they’ve built Big Nath’s BBQ on hard graft, community, and a shared obsession with food that hits the right spot every time.
