Chef Adam Handling MBE’s first venue outside of London, The Loch & the Tyne, is an award-winning gastropub, set in the beautiful countryside of Old Windsor. A favourite of both locals and destination diners, the pub is rooted in ‘Sustainable British luxury’, with exceptional attention to detail in every corner and personal touches throughout. Adam is driven to make The Loch & the Tyne one of the UK’s most sustainable pubs, from the upcycled furniture used throughout the building, to the minimising of waste and sourcing of local ingredients.
The restaurant, led by Chef Proprietor Steven Kerr, offers British pub food with a luxury approach, and the vegetable gardens and orchards surrounding the pub have been designed to accommodate ingredients needed for a constantly changing sustainable and seasonal menu. Guests can expect a celebration of British produce, including A La Carte, Sunday Lunch and Children’s menus, paired with a thoughtfully crafted drinks list from the pub.
The Loch & the Tyne won Highest New Entry (no. 27) in the Estrella Damm Top 50 Gastropub Awards 2022, and was awarded 4 rosettes from the AA in 2022.
