
Founded in 2024, Tommy’s Pie Shop was born from a simple idea: to capture the comfort, warmth, and nostalgia of home-cooked food in delicious, handcrafted pies.
For chef Tommy Banks and our team in Yorkshire, pies have always been a staple of the dining table - a way to bring people together over good food made properly. Every pie we create begins with honest British produce, perfectly cooked fillings, and buttery golden pastry. No shortcuts, no fuss, just food that feels good.
Proudly rooted in our Yorkshire heritage, we draw on the same ethos that defines our MICHELIN starred sister restaurants, The Black Swan at Oldstead and Roots York, as well as our country pub, The Abbey Inn at Byland, and our at-home dining experiences from Made In Oldstead. At Tommy’s Pie Shop, we work closely with trusted local and British suppliers to highlight exceptional quality, seasonality and flavour. Each pie is a celebration of the ingredients and producers that make British food so special, bringing a taste of Yorkshire warmth to tables across the country.
